Yes I know it's not Christmas yet, but it will soon be.....

And Christmas always fills me with mixed emotions!

It fills me with joy, and with sadness both at the same time, joy due to all the happy childhood Christmas's I enjoyed as a child. After all Christmas is a time for loved ones and families to be together. Sadly of course that may not be possible, which just inflames my sadness. 

Also sadness for all the little children who wake up on Christmas day and are disappointed because Santa forgot to visit their house, or if he did, he failed to deliver that one special toy, that they had their little hearts set on.

And of course sadness for their parents who could not afford to buy that one special toy that their son or daughter had their little hearts set on.

And for me when I listen to this song it fills me with sadness, because of the loved ones I can't be with on Christmas Day.

                

My Best Friends Birthday

Friday 6th September 2013

Saw my best friends birthday and she sure looked like she was so enjoying it, I just hope she doesn't eat all the cake all at once.

I dedicate this post to my loyal reader PAUL KNIGHT........He wanted to appear in my last book TITANIC 2, and he did, however he did complain I killed him off too soon, and maybe I did, so to put things right, this post is dedicated to PAUL.For Paul I have some good news and some bad news, the good news is he will appear and star throughout my next up and coming book I call 'Apis Bee Killers' that is the good news. The bad news is, I have just the right character lined up for him to play. Paul Knight is a gay perverted Bee keeper on a honey farm deep in the Suffolk countryside. However some people would argue Paul would feel more at home as a sheep farmer in Wales? So before you make up your own mind you will have to wait for the book?

Page 45;

He climbed the stairs, slowly one by one, he wasn’t really looking forward to seeing his wife stone cold dead in their bed, but he couldn’t put it off any longer, it had to be done. He reached the top of the stairs and then stepped into their bedroom and then froze in his tracks just inside the doorway. What the hell, he thought to himself, what the hell’s going on?

            For the moment all he could do was to just stand and stare at the bed, and try to make some sort of sense out of what he was seeing.

            The bed was empty, his wife was no longer there, yes the bed clothes were covered with drying vomit, and urine, but that was the only evidence of last night’s events.

            Maybe, he had only thought she had been dead, last night and she wasn’t really, maybe she had only passed out or something and then woke up later when he had been asleep, in which case where was she now, and would she remember that he had tried to murder her? And if she had remembered he had tried to murder her maybe she was at the police station right now, or maybe she had gone running over to Paul’s house and told him that he, her husband had tried to murder her, that he her husband had tried to make her choke on her own vomit?

            All these thoughts were running through his mind, one thing was for sure, he couldn’t continue on with his plan, after all how could he phone 999 and say my wife is dead in bed, when she wasn’t even there?

Yes, yes I do know it's Saturday.....

But even so I do enjoy my job so much I can't take the day off!

So from page 20 of my next up and coming book I call;

Apis Bee Killers

 But then Rodney told himself everything he did these days seemed to annoy Mary, so now he had almost given up trying not to annoy her, what’s the point he would think to himself?

But the point was, if it did come to a divorce, not only would he have a divorce to cope with, it would also make him bankrupt as well, her lawyers would demand half the value of the fruit farm, which he would have to sell. So at a stroke he would be wifeless, homeless, and Jobless. Which meant he had to avoid a divorce at any cost?

Not that he was bothered about the wifeless part he wasn't  yes okay they still shared the same bed but that was all, due to the fact he had been impotent for the last year or so, which again Mary blamed him for. But to her credit who else could she blame, after all she wouldn't blame herself now would she, God forbid that, no she couldn't blame herself, even if it was her fault?

              

Yes it's true........

I've only just started writing my next Book, which I call 'Apis Bee Killers' and I'm sorry because already people have started being attacked by out of control Bee swarms!

Exciting times for authors..........

Well yes but there are three exciting times for authors, I'm not just talking about my TITANIC 2, well yes I am, but I'm talking about any other author or any other book.

It's an exciting time the first time ever you type the title on to the title page, and the second exciting time is after reading it through three times and writing rewrites, and submit the files to the publisher.

And the third most exciting time is when you see your book up for sale on say Amazon. And that is the stage Where I am with my TITANIC 2.

Another unnecessary so called royal baby!

And yes judging from today's title you might well think I have very little respect for the so called royal family. You would not be wrong about that. For me respect has to be earned, and in all my 58 years the so called royal family has done nothing, nothing at all to earn my respect.
Well that's not quite true there was only one Royal who did earn my respect, Princess Diana she however married beneath her, she was by far too good to marry into that family, Princess Dianna was after all human, with human feelings which is why the rest of the so called royal family hated her, and despised her so much.
The reason the so call queen hated her so much was because the world had much more love, and respect for Princess Diana than they ever would for the so called queen. And in a very short time Princess Diana earned that respect from the world.
So my question today is 'why is this baby unnecessary, and why is this an insult to every hard working and every hard up british family?'
First of all he is 3rd in line to the thrown which means he will never be king, so he has no productive use except to breed and that is one thing the so call royal family is good at breeding, they breed like wild rabbits. At a time when britain is almost bankrupt we can't afford to keep on funding their breeding program.
Insult why is this baby an insult, because of the high cost of living in britain the sky high taxes (to fund the royals breeding program) hard working brits can't afford to have a baby of their own.             

Somethings never die...........

Looking through YouTube I stumbled across a Johnny Cash Classic, and it reminded me somethings never die, somethings, live on for ever and ever forever like best-friends!

Therefore I dedicate this song to my best-est friend of all time, I don't have to say her name, after all she knows who she is!

         

This brings back happy memory's of my racing days........

About the book;

 Travel back in time for one hundred years, as you read in between the lines as the first part of this story unfolds. The story surrounding the building of, and that of which, should have been a historical maiden voyage, on April the 12th 1912, from Southampton England to New York, and the rest as they say is history.

Now travelling back to this present day, follow the story of the designing, the building and the maiden voyage on April the 12^th 2012 of this realistic reproduction replica of the first Titanic, right down to the passengers and crew, eating the same food, drinking the same wine, and dressing up in the same attire as they did in the early 1900s. And that is not to mention dancing in the grand ballroom to the same bands and to the same music. The passengers and crew alike really do think they are in a time warp, they really do think and have  been transported back in time one hundred years.

                                            TITANIC 2

To this present day she still wondered sometimes as to how long he had suffered for, alone in his study before he died. Maybe when his heart attack struck he had shouted out for her, shouting out her name, shouting out for help. When no one came to his aid, he would have then have reached out for his phone on his study desk, and tried to dial 911, but no emergency call was ever made, so maybe he didn’t suffer for too long, before he breathed his last agonizing painful breath?

TITANIC 2

From page 69 of my next up and coming book;

The staggering woman now gave up staggering, in fact she gave up trying to walk at all and just sat down where she was. My lady started rushing towards the woman, when she reached her she asked her.

“Excuse me, are you ill, do you need help, can I call a doctor for you?”

The woman looked up at My Lady with her hat now crooked on her head, and began to laugh, the sort of laugh that only a drunkard could laugh. When Alexander reached them both he said to My Lady.

“It’s okay My Lady don’t worry, she’s not ill, she’s just drunk is all!”

My Lady looked at Alexander and asked.

“Drunk, drunk how do you know she’s drunk, do you know this woman?”

“Yes of course I do, her name is Susannah Booton, and she is nearly two hundred years old, she used to live in the town of Birmingham England in the year 1902 when the Edwardian authorities placed her on the public house black listing along with another thirty seven other drunkards. However she does only have a second class ticket, and she is intruding on our first class deck, so I will call the purser to have her escorted back to her own deck.”

My Lady looked at Alexander then back at the actress, then back at Alexander, not quite sure whether to believe him or not, then she said.

“But, it’s so real, I mean she’s so real I can even smell the Gin on her breath.”

By then that the actress had stopped laughing and replied.

“Well I wish it was the smell of Gin on my breath, it’s not, the Gin is just splashed on my clothes, but it works, it fools people all the time!”

“Well you sure had me fooled and no mistake!”

My Lady replied.

KRYSTAL RADIO'S 'PARTY IN THE PARK 2013' Everyone's invited.

So what is the 'PARTY IN THE PARK 2013?' it is a charity event organized by Julie Hylande who is part of the Krystal radio crew.
Where is this years location? This year it's being held at the Coalhouse Fort Tilbury Essex, never heard of it, well nether had I till this week, check out the video;
Further details coming soon...So watch this space, however I do know we are supporting two charity's this year, MacMillon's and Cancer research UK, and both are very worthwhile charity's. And yes I did say we, how did I get roped in I hear you ask? My relationship started with Krystal radio first with a radio interview and then the joint competition that we ran between us. The result of the competition was a book called 'Hospital of Despair' which was written by me, on behalf of the winner of the competition Chris Goody, the story was based on his own idea. So I will be there at the party selling signed copy's of the book and 50% of the proceeds will go to the charity's.
Music will be provided by Krystal Radio who will be broadcasting live from the park. It promises to be a great day, so please come along and support us.... Further details coming soon.....

And yes just in case some of you are wondering whether or not I have made up my mind while I'm halfway through writing my next book called 'TITANIC 2'

Does my Titanic end up in a watery grave like the Titanic the 1st, well I still haven't made up my mind 'sorry'

NO, SORRY, I still can't decide?

This Friday's question is...What's wrong with the NHS?

In a  nutshell...Nothing, there is nothing wrong with the NHS? So why is it failing I hear you ask? The answer is the NHS isn't failing, the NHS is being failed by this and by previous foolish governments!

Jeremy Hunt the newest under qualified health secretary, admitted on TV, he could give no reassurance, that the government's QCC could be trusted to inspect hospitals and publish the results. He also admitted this department cost 40 millions pounds to run!

If Jeremy hunt had any sense, any sense at all and he would only need the brain the size of a pea, he would shut down the QCC and spend that 40 million pounds on reinstating ward matrons, and reinstate their powers, to that which they had in the sixty's, seventy's and eighty's. 

Back then their was no such thing as MRSA, why because the matron would make sure her ward was cleaned properly, and if it wasn't she would stand over the cleaner until it was done properly.

But no owning to their own stupidity and lack of common sense, our foolish government of the day decided, we don't need matrons anymore we could save money, and the money we save we can spend on a department to inspect hospitals.

But the point is one of the many jobs of a matron was to inspect her ward, and to make sure it was run properly.

And of course the next stupid mistake our foolish governments made was, to allow private companies in to clean our hospitals, who of course don't care whether or not they are cleaned properly or not, and why should they care, because they still make their obscene profit. And if a few thousand patients die of MRSA, well why should they care? They still make their obscene profits!

Private companies don't care about patients, they only care about one thing, obscene profits!

I suppose the question is in the year 2013 however but still on the 12th of April, will the Atlantic Ocean be as cold as it was some hundred odd years ago, and if it is will if be still full of icebergs? And back then the Atlantic ocean was so cold a man woman or child could only survive for 20 minutes max!

Any day now, from my next up and coming book called 'Titanic 2' from page 139, any day now Titanic will be launched from the China shipyard

She will then set sail for Southampton England, from there on the 12th April she will set sail on her maiden voyage set for New-York 

It's true even when us authors take a day off we are still working.....

Yes It's true us authors never take a day off, yesterday was a prime example, Sunday 16th June was fathers day, and for my fathers day present, my daughter took me to Colchester Zoo for the day.

And as it's been some 20 odd years since I'd last been it is now nearly twice as big. However as we were walking round my authors imagination began running away with me.

What if, instead of having a Zoo for animals we had a Zoo for humans? But I wasn't thinking about famous people I was more thinking about dangerous people? And now I'm talking about leaders of countries, war mongers, hungry for war, and people like prime minsters, and members of parliament, we could lock them all up, in a human Zoo lock them all away, safe and sound, where they can do no more harm to us and the world. If only we could?          

Friday Update..........

About the book; 

This story takes place in the USA, however, the story is not confined to just America. For hundreds of years authors have be deliberating on what will bring about the end of the world as we know it? Some have written about meteors, or alien invasions, killer black birds, or even killer Bees to worldwide floods? However at last the truth has been uncovered, and you and I we are powerless to prevent it. However all is not lost, well for those people who are prepared anyway, they can save themselves from the end of the world as we know it. However maybe what they should be asking themselves do they want to be saved?

About the book;

This book is the result of a competition run jointly by one of London's best stations Krystal Radio and myself. The winner of the competition who sent in the winning entry was Chris Goody, and this story is based on an idea by Chris Goody. Who also stared throughout the story where he wanted to be called 'Dirty Chris.

This story is fiction well 50% of the story is fiction, well at least we can only hope that it is anyway.

Wow 9th June!

Wow 9th June I can't believe I've neglected my Blog for so long, so I'm going to put that right straight away, and while I'm doing it, I'm listening to a great Country & Western singer Guy Clark.

So what have I been doing since the 9th June I hear you ask? Well I did go on Holiday to the Philippines in September which is where the inspiration for my latest book came from, which I call 'Only In The Philippines.'

But before that I had another book released, called Hospital Of Despair, which was the end result of a competition run jointly by myself and one of the greatest London Radio Stations Krystal Radio.

So while I get the website links together for these two books, please join me in listening to Guy Clark. But even before that I had another book published which is called 'Ghost Town Hub'

     

So as you can see I haven't been idle, so maybe I can be forgive, so lets go get the website links and I'll tell you more about each book.
