WARNING DO NOT ORDER FROM INTERFLORA

And I am talking from experience here, as a saddened customer that they let down so very badly.
I was foolish enough to order flowers on their website to be delivered to the Philippines. They accepted my order, and my money. And I then sat back and put all my trust in interflora to deliver my order.
So you can imagine how upset, and how disappointed I was to learn, that interflora had failed to deliver my order.
After phoning them 5 times over a weeks period they were still unable to tell me why they had failed to deliver my order.
Then at last I received an email from interflora telling me they failed to deliver my order because the don't deliver flowers to the Philippines.
So if this is true and they don't deliver flowers to the Philippines, then why did they accept my order? And why did they take my money?
And these two questions still remain unanswered to this very day.
And the moral of this story is a simple one;
DON'T TRUST INTERFLORA EVER!

However If you do need to send flowers or even other gifts to be delivered to the Philippines, I can recommend a very reliable florist in the Philippines. Who did in fact come to my rescue when I was LET DOWN SO BADLY BY INTERFLORA. Just click the link:

  1. As last a email I received from INTERFLORA;

    Order number 149378048

    Thank you for your email, I can confirm the letter of apology and gift vouchers were sent to the recipient on 26-Sep-2011.

    The apology letter read:

    Dear Mrs Ed*****,

    I write with reference to the complaint made in connection with the non-delivery of your Interflora Birthday gift from Teresa, Pauline, Sandy and Trevor, Noreen, Choi and John, delivery of which was intended on 6 September 2011. Firstly, please accept my apologies for the disappointment felt and for the failure of our Service to deliver your gift on this special day and also for the delay in resolving this issue. Unfortunately, we have been advised by our overseas colleagues that Interflora does not currently have a florist situated within your locality and therefore we have been unable to arrange delivery via our relay service. It is most regrettable we were not aware of the situation at the time of accepting the order on our website. The senders were naturally most upset you did not receive their gift as expected and have consequently asked me to write and explain the situation. Please accept the enclosed Interflora gift vouchers to the value of 40 fleurins, as a gesture of our apologies. These vouchers may be used for in-shop purchase of flowers or plants of your choice at any florist displaying the Interflora logo. In closing, I would like to assure you that the quality of our service is of the utmost importance to us and I am sorry that we failed to meet your expectations on this occasion. I do hope that the action we have taken will at least go some way to demonstrate how sorry we are for this unfortunate incident.

    Yours sincerely Aileen Palmer Contact Centre Advisor.

    Thanks and kind regards Kayleigh customer services.

  2. Just when I thought INTERFLORA had began restoring a little piece of goodwill, they have kicked me in the teeth once again. Yes they did send vouchers to the value of 40 fleurins. However I am told that 40 fleurins is only worth about 50p in our money. So not only do they take your money and then not deliver your flowers they then insult us the customers with a 50p voucher to say sorry.
    I can only repeat my warning NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM INTERFLORA. EVER.
