Residents of Dale Farm, the UK's largest illegal travellers' site, will have to wait to learn whether they have won their High Court battle against eviction.
They are seeking court orders blocking their removal from the controversial site near Basildon, Essex.
Traveller lawyers argued in three linked applications for judicial review that Basildon Council's decision earlier this year to take direct action to clear the green belt site of about 400 travellers, including about 100 children, was "disproportionate" and must at least be reconsidered because of changed circumstances.
The council was accused of failing to take account of vulnerable residents, including the sick in need of regular medication and children whose schooling would be disrupted if families were evicted.
WHY? When BROKEN BRITAIN IS BANKRUPT and we cannot afford to pay doctors and nurses and dentist, WHY, are we wasting £18 million to clear a hand full of homes from woodland? Yes I know the excuse is they are breaking the law, well then CHANGE THE LAW, Simple, and sorted free of charge.

He sold the land of Dale Farm because the council didn't want it, he wanted the money but he didn't want the land so he sold the land to the travelers. Who brought the land so they could live on it. But that PRICK TONY BALL would not give planning permission. Therefore he should not have sold the land in the first place. And now that BASTARD TONY BALL is sending in his paid thugs and Hoods to evict them. TONY BALL HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME.

Which is more than can be said for balls, hired thugs who will walk away hanging their heads in shame.
